Five Ways to Make 2026 Great

Five Ways to Make 2026 Great

2026 is well on its way, how did the first week go for you? Many people feel reinvigorated by the calendar reset and want to make the new year even better than the last. This change is for yourself, your family, friends and community! You can also make changes in 2026 that will benefit your pet (and, most of the time, by extension yourself as well!). Here are five changes you could make in 2026 for your pet's improved health and wellness.

One. Consistency and Routine.
One of our most common New Years resolutions for humans is to hit the gym, create a more elaborate skincare routine, meal plan etc.. It's because we know how important routine is for our brains and our mood. Consistency is key for us, and for your pet's too! While you're creating a great routine for yourself, intertwine some of the important elements for your pet too such as consistent walk times and durations, consistent feeding times, and a consistent bedtime. It improves their mood, behaviour and obedience!

Two. Enjoy Time Together.
Have you ever looked down at your dog or cat laying at your feet while you're working on the computer or watching a movie and worry they're feeling bored or lonely? Lucky thing is that your pet considers that spending time together! Alongside this, grooming, training or playing are great ways to spend time together. So make sure you take time to appreciate the time you spend together and let it sink in: the dopamine, the oxytocin, and it leading to better training and obedience so you can keep your pet safe.

Three. Preemptive and preventative measures.
Just like humans should do yearly check ups with the dentist, the doctor and a skin check (do you?) your pet should get preventative care, too! Regular vet check ups are a great way to ensure your pet's physical, mental, dental health are all a-okay and potentially stop burgeoning disease in its tracks. Similarly, they should get yearly dental treatment to prevent disease of the gums. Even a yearly session with a trainer can help you and your pet remember some of the technical elements of training and obedience.

Four. A Summer Refresh.
Every once in a while, everyone gets that itch: paint the walls, rearrange the furniture, maybe pack up and move house. Your pet potentially gets that itch, too. To refresh their space and help them feel the passage of time, consider switching their bedding, rotating their toys, trying new treats or changing the location of their bed in the house. All of this can help things feel new and excite them.

Five. Nutrient BOOST.
If your pet hasn't been eating raw food, or if they've tried one of our enhanced meals and settled on that, trying a new type or flavour of food is a great way to mark the passing year. Plus, ensuring they get the required nutrition can help them feel great and be prepared to live another year in good health.

Are you getting the sense that 2026 is going to be a better year? Lots of people are hopeful for the New Year in a way many haven't been for a long time. This could be a great year for you, and for your pet if you follow the above five things! That includes feeding them Pawganic Pet Food, which you can do by ordering online or coming in-store.
