Five Ways To Make Christmas Better For Your Pet

Five Ways To Make Christmas Better For Your Pet

Christmas is an exciting time for humans and furbabies both, but your pet can't communicate in plain language when they need something like your human guests can. To ensure your pet is comfortable, safe and well-cared for, provide these five things!

One. A Quiet Place to Sleep.
Providing your pet with a quiet and out of the way place to decompress and rest is vitally important. Ensure this place is free from human AND furry guests so they can have their own space. This is especially important if your pet is generally anti-social, quiet, elderly or recently sick or injured. Rest is important for dogs and humans alike!

Two. Plenty of water.
Keep their water bowl well-stocked, fresh and clean. Excitement, extra food, exercise and the hotter weather may mean they need extra water. Dehydration can be deadly so ensure they constantly have fresh, clean water.

Three. A walk.
The excitement of new guests, potential furry friends and toys, plus all the new smells in the kitchen is very stimulating (and tiring) for your pet, but they still need a walk. On a walk they sniff, decompress and enjoy space to roam around and take in a new environment. It's an important part of their mental and physical health.

Four. Love.
Contrary to number one, your pet still needs love during the holidays. If your pet is a people-person, they may be getting plenty of love from your guests and be satisfied. But if they spend most of the day laying on their bed while you're busy cooking, chatting to guests and wrapping presents, they need a reminder that you're their family.

Five. Food.
Even if you share your festive fares with them, your pet still needs their daily Pawganic Pet Food. Providing them with their portion of defrosted, fresh raw pet food keeps them healthy and safe, plus it maintains their routine which will make them more comfortable.

So, ensuring your pet has adequate space, water, walks, love and food, they'll enjoy Christmas as much as you do!
